This book is the first monograph in Russian scientific literature deals with traditional everyday natural environment culture of the Siberian people. Various aspects of mutual relation of human communities with the nature are considered in this work, since appearance of the first hunting and fishing groups on the territory of Siberia till the Russian empire regulating of local nature management. Methodological aspects of ethnic ecology, natural environment culture and the integrated economic-cultural types are considered in monograph. Influence of natural environment on population shift and adaptation of immigrants to an environment, and also the changing in culture which arise from adaptable dynamics are investigated in the work. The problems of formation natural environment cultures on an example of the ancient and medieval population of middle Irtysh river area and histories of popular nature preservation in Siberia also are covered in the book.
